"Build Me a tower."
Jesus said, "My sheep hear My voice." John 10:27
"Build Me a tower. "Build Me a tower for the people filled with hope." Make it lean. Make it sturdy. Make it to withstand the onslaught of unbelief which will swirl around it. Don't worry about the nay-say-ers. Just build it. I am watching over the construction of it. Those against it will be many, bearing strong words, but pay them no mind."
"I stand guard over the work. As it was in Nehemiah's day, so it will be here. Success against many odds. I oversee My plans. I provide for them from the ground up. Don't despair. I will see to it that my will prevails. You just build. Make haste. Don't tarry. I will provide. Trust Me in this. I am faithful." (08/12/2017)
This is the second word of this kind - a command. The first two sentences stopped me in my tracks. I unashamedly admit that I seriously wondered about whose voice this was - mine or His. It was a mind-boggling command for me. Many questions and a lot of prayer transpired before I decided I had enough direction to proceed. It is a long story for another time. Suffice it to say that the Lord honored my first attempt and then, almost three years later, the command became more clear. Don't hesitate to seek His input when you don't understand. His timing is perfect. He knows how to make Himself clear - even if it takes a while. What is the Lord asking YOU to do for Him?
